Welcome to Research & Innovation Website

School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia has set its mission to be the centre of academic excellence, providing medical education and training of the highest standard and be a leader in research and innovation in the field of medical sciences and technology. It aspires to excel in the understanding of human health and diseases.

As part of a renowned Research University and later recognized as APEX University (Accelerated Programme for Excellence) in the country, School of Medical Sciences provides research facilities and consist of teams of highly dedicated, experienced and qualified academician.

The Research & Innovation office of School of Medical Sciences plays a vital role in handling and assisting grant applications, provides reearch information, and provides training in manuscript writing. The Research secretariat is set up as a liaison between researchers, grant sponsors, and USM Research Creativity Management Office. We work closely with USM Human & Animal Research Ethics.

It is hoped that this website provides the necessary information, assist in research collaboration and maximizing research opportunity.
